was meaning to put up some shots of the next project, so heres a few i took..
this is a dungeon map and the good team will be running for their lives from the evil armies on their tails. The only way to take the evil armies as a whole is to escape and join with your waiting troops down the mountain. The mountain ridge trail has been over run by the enemy......so the only way down is thru the mountain dungeon passages.
The dungeon is dangerous and host to some nasty critters. How many levels down is yet to be discovered. There is rumor of past activity by man and dwarves years ago.........now the lowest forms make it their dwelling....
find your way down good warriors...
the king must make it down the depths of the mountain and to the bottom. Defend him with your life or get lost by yourself in the corridors...
the good team has made it to the mouth of the dungeon in the high mountain region...
knowing the evil army and their hordes of attackers are on your heels you finish your beans and ale and prepare to enter the hole..
eh its kinda cosy inside from the cold wind out there..........ut oh.........i hear something....
which way did it come from? the left or the right?
we go left...ahhhh, the wildlife is kinda big and annoying.....move out of the way green beast!
finally, a real door..
hmmm.....those lizardmen seem to be guarding it...
well.......time to skin some lizards..
yeah these blue and red lizard skin boots are gonna rock!
woh, whats this place? in we go...
which way is the safest? we have to get down this mountain..

so i got a lot done on it besides these shots...
got a few good ideas for later levels and after the good team is down i will create a last level where warlord is reunited with his troops and evil are there with their troops and it hopefully will be a nice battle map of players and npcs fighting on sides. Not sure how many levels this dungeon will be to get to the bottom yet..
there will be places to get stuff located at certain spots of the dungeon. Warlord will always have his uber but everyone else will be with their starters until a powerup wep is located. Be careful warlord when blasting in close quarters... :-)
im unsure of what way will be the best to descend this level with unknown tactics yet............there should be some good fights in these small and tight areas though and an objective of the warlord making it to the entrance of the next level to win the map.
there will be full buy locations for armor and scrolls in treasure rooms at various levels of the dungeon. Evil will be scurrying into the mountain from other passageways to find the king (warlord) and kill him. Watch out good team for evil soldiers or hired hands working for evil side...
